High Desert Devo is hiring an Executive Director!
High Desert Devo (HDD) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Our mission is to empower the youth in our community by fostering a lifelong passion for cycling.
We are located in Southwest Colorado and serve kids from Mancos, Dolores, Cortez and Towaoc.
The program was started by volunteers in 2016, and has grown from 8 kids to over 30 kids.
HDD currently provides coached group rides from July through October for middle school and high age girls and boys.
The program also supports a high school boys and girls race team that participates in the Colorado Mountain Bike League race series.
HDD is able to offer the coached rides to the community free of
charge due to generous grant support and donations from Montezuma Inspire Coalition, 12 Hours of Mesa Verde, Osprey, Kokopelli Bike and Board, and many other contributions.
At this point, we are looking to expand the High Desert Devo program to serve more age groups, make the program more
sustainable financially, and hire a permanent Executive Director.
